Recently, both China Energy News and Today's Headlines reported that the MG650/1590-AWD intelligent shearer, jointly developed by Shanghai Chuangli Group and CHN Energy Shendong Coal Group, has set a new record for similar mining equipment by continuously serving three intelligent fully-mechanized mining faces at the Shendong Wulanmulun Mine.
This shearer also set records at the Shendong Mining Area by achieving 26 cutting cycles in a single day, producing 18,000 tons of raw coal, and reaching a maximum monthly output of 450,000 tons. These accomplishments fully demonstrate the shearer's exceptional continuous operational capability and reliability.

The outstanding achievements of this project are attributed to the safe, efficient management, and excellent execution capabilities of CHN Energy Shendong Coal Group. They also rely on the meticulous guidance and full-process supervision of the Shendong High-end R&D Center, as well as the standardized operation and careful maintenance by frontline personnel. Together, they have delivered a satisfactory result.
The project was initiated in early 2022 with a clear positioning of "intelligent and high-end." Extensive research was conducted in various aspects, from R&D and material selection to technology and production, and from safety and reliability to advancement and intelligence. Multiple internationally leading new technologies were adopted. Throughout the process, colleagues from the Shendong High-end R&D Center and the R&D team of Chuangli Group engaged in numerous thorough exchanges, incorporating valuable suggestions from the user unit and optimizing the product design multiple times.
This shearer incorporates several internationally leading new technologies, combining the advantages of high reliability and intelligence. It can adapt to complex coal seams and high-efficiency mining requirements, contributing to the efficient and safe production of coal in China and setting a new benchmark for the development of global mining machinery.
